2018 Series Venue - Clark

Location of Clark in Tarlac and Pampanga

TheClark Freeport and Special Economic Zone (CFEZ)[1] refers to an area spanning the city ofAngeles and the provinces ofPampanga andTarlac.

The Clark area in Pampanga covers the city ofAngeles and the towns ofMabalacat, andPorac while parts of the area inTarlacinclude the towns ofCapas andBamban, Tarlac.

The CFEZ divided into two areas, the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) and the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). TheNew Clark City is part of the Clark Special Economic Zone. The CFZ covers the area of the formerUnited States Air Force facility,Clark Air Base. Most of which of this air base was converted to theClark International Airport and some remained under the control of thePhilippine Air Force.

Today, Clark forms the hub for business, industry, aviation, education, and tourism in the Philippines as well as a leisure, fitness, entertainment and gaming center ofCentral Luzon.
